Winter Break Camp in Austin for Kids Who Still Have Energy.
Holiday magic. Holiday chaos. Ninja helps with one of those.
Full-day indoor ninja camp with obstacles, games, coaching, lunch and two snacks — with flexible single-day registration so you can book the camp days that actually fit your family's holiday calendar.
The school calendar is ridiculous.
Your office schedule, travel schedule, family schedule and school schedule are probably not the same schedule.
Winter Break Camp is built for that reality. Maybe you need two camp days before you travel. Maybe you are back in Austin while school is still closed. Maybe everyone has simply enjoyed enough togetherness for one week.
Choose the individual camp days that make sense instead of buying a block of days your family cannot use.
You still have a job.
Full-day drop-off helps cover the days your workplace did not magically close with school.
You are gone for part of break.
Book before the trip, after the trip or the random in-between days.
Everybody could use a reset.
Obstacles and games for them. A quieter block of the holiday for you.
Your holiday plans are not a five-day block. Camp doesn't have to be either.
These are examples, not required schedules. Pick the available Winter Break Camp days that fit your actual calendar.
Book Monday and Tuesday. That's it.
You are not paying for camp while your kid is two states away eating cookies at Grandma's.
Fill the days your office doesn't recognize.
Full-day camp gives you a real work block, with eligible extended care when 3:00 still isn't the end of your day.
Sometimes everybody benefits from a reset.
They get climbing, games and people. You get a few hours without hearing “what are we doing now?”
Holiday schedules move. Your camp day can too.
Flights change. Family arrives early. Plans move around. Give us at least 14 days' notice and an unused camp day can be converted to credit toward a future Octo Ninja camp day.

Camp can be structured without feeling like school.
After weeks of parties, travel, movies, treats and disrupted routines, kids often need movement as much as parents need a plan.
Winter Camp mixes coaching with games, exploration, teams, breaks and play so the day keeps changing.
Use the whole body.
Climb, swing, grip, balance, jump and solve physical puzzles.
Practice makes progress.
Coaches introduce skills and approachable progressions.
Let break feel like break.
Games and exploration keep the day from feeling like another class.
Do something together.
Team games make social connection part of the activity instead of an assignment.
Not every minute is max effort.
Food, crafts and quieter blocks help make the full day sustainable.
They come for the obstacles. The people become part of the story.
Games and team challenges give kids a natural way to interact while they are actually doing something together.
A school-break day worth getting excited about.
Real campers. Real coaches. Real obstacles. Considerably less couch.
The things parents notice after pickup.
Different season, same question: did the day actually work for the kid and the parent?
“My son was nervous his first morning — refused to get out of the car. By Wednesday he was begging to go back and asking to sign up again. The coaches are genuinely great with hesitant kids.”
“We sent both kids for three weeks this summer. The staff remembered their names on day two. Organization at pickup is clear and fast. Lunch included made the whole logistics so much simpler.”
“My daughter came home exhausted and happy every single day. She slept better that week than any other week of summer. The coaches kept a real mix of structured and free time — that's hard to do.”

FIND YOUR FLOW
They do not have to sprint through the door yelling “NINJA!”
Some kids charge in. Some need to watch for a minute. Both can belong here.
A new building, new coaches and a room full of kids can feel like a lot at first.
If your child is hesitant, tell the team at check-in. Coaches can help them understand the space, learn the rhythm of the day and start with challenges that feel approachable.
Confidence can start quietly. Give them room to find their flow.A holiday camp location that fits the real-world calendar.

Does Octo Ninja offer Winter Break Camp in Austin?
Yes. Octo Ninja offers select indoor camp days during the end-of-year school-break season, including Thanksgiving break, December school holidays and Winter Break. Available dates vary each year, so current online registration is the source of truth for upcoming camp days.
Does Octo Ninja offer Thanksgiving Break Camp?
Octo Ninja may offer select camp days around Thanksgiving break when local schools are closed. Camp does not necessarily run every day of Thanksgiving week or on Thanksgiving Day. Check current registration for exact available dates.
Can I book just one day of Winter Break Camp?
Yes. Winter Break Camp is designed to work with complicated holiday schedules, so families can book individual available camp days instead of committing to a full week. Book the days that fit your work, travel and family plans.
Do I have to register for the whole week?
No. You do not have to register for a full week. Choose the individual Winter Break Camp days that work for your family. If a multi-day or full-week option is offered for a particular break, it will be shown in the registration system.
What happens if our holiday travel plans change after we book?
If you can no longer use a reserved camp day, give Octo Ninja at least 14 days' notice. The unused camp day can be converted to a credit toward a future Octo Ninja camp day, subject to current camp terms and future camp availability.
How does the 14-day camp credit work?
Contact Octo Ninja at least 14 days before the reserved camp date. When the request qualifies under the current camp terms, the unused camp day can be held as a credit toward a future Octo Ninja camp day. Future dates remain subject to availability.
What ages can attend Winter Break Camp?
Octo Ninja Winter Break Camp is generally designed for kids ages 5–12. Activities can be scaled for different ages, confidence levels and experience so first-time ninjas and returning campers can both participate.
Does my child need ninja experience?
No. First-time ninjas are welcome. Coaches can introduce foundational movement and obstacle skills while giving experienced campers harder variations and challenges.
Is Winter Break Camp indoors and climate-controlled?
Yes. Camp takes place inside Octo Ninja's indoor, climate-controlled obstacle gym in North Central Austin, so Texas cold fronts, warm afternoons and rain do not determine whether the camp day can happen.
What do kids do during Winter Break Camp?
Campers rotate through coached ninja skills, obstacle exploration, Open Gym, games, team challenges, friendly competitions, creative or lower-intensity activities, lunch and snack breaks. The exact mix can vary by camp day and group.
What time does Winter Break Camp start and end?
Most full camp days run approximately 8:45 AM–3:00 PM. Exact times can vary by date, so check the registration details for the camp day you select.
Is lunch included with Winter Break Camp?
Yes. Current full-day Octo Ninja camps include lunch and two snacks for each camper. Families should still send a refillable water bottle and may send alternative food for dietary preferences or allergy needs.
Is extended care available during Winter Break Camp?
Extended care is available on eligible camp dates until approximately 5:00 PM. Current extended-care pricing is $35 per day or $100 for an eligible full week. Extended care should be reserved in advance.
What should my child wear or bring?
Campers should wear comfortable athletic clothing and clean, secure athletic shoes with good traction. Bring a refillable water bottle and any required medication with written instructions. Avoid Crocs, sandals, flip-flops and other loose footwear on the obstacle floor.
What if my child is nervous about camp?
First-day nerves are normal. Tell the team at check-in if your child is hesitant. Coaches can help them understand the space, learn the rhythm of the day and begin with challenges that feel approachable.
How does authorized pickup work?
Campers are released only to adults who are authorized to pick them up. Authorized adults should be prepared to show valid photo identification when signing out a camper. Keep pickup information current before camp.
Does camp run on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or New Year's Day?
Not necessarily. Winter Break Camp dates are scheduled around the school-break calendar, but Octo Ninja does not operate camp every day of the break or on every major holiday. Check current online registration for exact available dates.
