Summer Camp in Austin for Kids Who Were Made to Move.
Play like a kid. Train like an athlete.
Obstacles, coached ninja skills, games, friends, lunch, two snacks and a full day indoors while Texas does whatever Texas is doing outside.
Make some of it unforgettable.
Summer camp can solve the childcare problem without feeling like childcare to your kid.
Octo Ninja Summer Camp is a full-day, drop-off camp for kids ages 5–12 inside our North Austin obstacle gym.
Campers move through ninja skills, obstacle time, games, group challenges, creative breaks, lunch, snacks and free exploration throughout the day. The goal is simple: keep the day active, varied and worth talking about on the ride home.
Give the energy somewhere to go.
Climbing, swinging, balancing, games and physical challenges fill the day.
Camp is better with people.
Team games and shared challenges give campers natural ways to get to know each other.
You get a real workday too.
Full-day drop-off, food included and optional extended care help summer fit real life.
One day? Great. A whole week? Even better.
Choose individual Summer Camp days when you need flexibility, or register for an eligible full week when your kid is ready to make Octo part of summer.
Start small.
Fill an open summer workday, test out camp or give a first-timer an easy way in.
Give camp time to become theirs.
More time to learn the routine, know the coaches, make friends and build on skills.
One week does not have to be the whole summer.
Activities, groups and challenges vary, so returning campers still have new things to do and new goals to chase.
They come for the obstacles. The people become part of the story.
Camp mixes individual challenges with games, teams and shared ridiculousness — giving kids something to do together before anyone has to figure out how to “make friends.”

Some things just need more than one day.
Single days are useful and fun. A full week gives a camper something different: time to get comfortable, connect and build on yesterday. Every child is different, but this is the shape a camp week can create.
Learn the place.
Meet the coaches, understand the rhythm and figure out where everything is.
Know what comes next.
Familiarity makes it easier to jump into games, challenges and conversations.
Find the challenge.
Campers have time to revisit skills instead of starting from zero.
Know some people.
Names, inside jokes and team games start making camp feel familiar.
Feel like you belong here.
A week gives kids time for camp to become their place, not just a place they visited.
Neither does camp.
Extended care is available on eligible Summer Camp days from approximately 3:00–5:00 PM and should be reserved in advance.
$35/day · $100 for an eligible full weekThis Is What "I LOVE This Camp" Looks Like
Real campers. Real coaches. Real obstacles. Approximately zero stock-photo children pretending to have the best summer ever.
The best part might be the ride home.
Happy. Tired. Talking your ear off about something they learned, someone they met or something ridiculous their team did.
“My son was nervous his first morning — refused to get out of the car. By Wednesday he was begging to go back and asking to sign up again. The coaches are genuinely great with hesitant kids.”
“We sent both kids for three weeks this summer. The staff remembered their names on day two. Organization at pickup is clear and fast. Lunch included made the whole logistics so much simpler.”
“My daughter came home exhausted and happy every single day. She slept better that week than any other week of summer. The coaches kept a real mix of structured and free time — that's hard to do.”
What you bring. What we've already got.
Current full-day Summer Camp includes lunch and two snacks, which means the morning packing list gets considerably shorter.

FIND YOUR FLOW
Confidence doesn't always walk through the door first.
Some kids charge in. Some kids need to watch for a minute. Both can belong here.
A new building, new coaches and a room full of kids can feel like a lot at first.
Some campers want to know exactly what happens next. Some need an approachable first obstacle. Some simply need a little time before joining the group.
If your child is nervous, tell the team at check-in. Coaches can help them understand the space, learn the rhythm of the day and find a comfortable way in.

What ages can attend Octo Ninja Summer Camp? +
Octo Ninja Summer Camp is designed primarily for kids ages 5–12. Activities can be scaled based on age, ability and experience so younger campers and more experienced ninjas can both find appropriate challenges.
Does my child need ninja experience to attend Summer Camp? +
No. First-time ninjas are welcome. Coaches teach obstacle fundamentals and can adjust challenges for different ability levels. Kids do not need to arrive already knowing how to climb, swing or complete ninja obstacles.
Is Octo Ninja Summer Camp indoors and air-conditioned? +
Yes. Summer Camp takes place inside Octo Ninja's indoor, climate-controlled obstacle gym in Austin, so kids can climb, swing, run, play and train without spending the camp day outside in the Texas summer heat or having the schedule disrupted by rain.
What do kids actually do all day at Ninja Summer Camp? +
Campers rotate through a mix of coached and play-forward activities. A typical day can include warmups, ninja skill sessions, Open Gym and obstacle exploration, team games, relays, group challenges, friendly mini competitions, crafts, lunch and snack breaks.
Activities can vary throughout the week, so camp does not have to feel like the exact same day repeated five times.
Can I book one day of Summer Camp or do I have to book the full week? +
You can choose individual Summer Camp days or register for an eligible full week. Single-day registration gives families flexibility, while a full week gives campers more time to learn the routine, make friends and build on skills throughout the week.
What time does Octo Ninja Summer Camp start and end? +

How far in advance should I book Summer Camp in Austin? +

Summer Camp pricing depends on whether you choose individual camp days or an eligible full-week registration. The online registration page shows current Summer Camp pricing, dates and availability.

What should my child bring to Summer Camp? +
Campers should bring clean athletic shoes with good traction, a refillable water bottle, comfortable athletic clothing and any required medication with written instructions. Alternative lunch or snacks may be sent when needed.
Phones, valuables, loose footwear and anything difficult to replace are best left at home.
What should my child wear to Ninja Summer Camp? +
Comfortable athletic clothing works best because campers will be climbing, swinging, running, crawling and moving throughout the day. Clean athletic shoes with secure rubber soles are recommended. Avoid Crocs, sandals, flip-flops and other loose footwear on the obstacle floor.
What if my child is nervous about their first day of camp? +
First-day nerves are normal. Let the team know at check-in if your child is feeling hesitant. Coaches can help them understand the space, learn the day's routine and begin with challenges that feel approachable. Kids do not need to be fearless to belong at camp.
Can Octo Ninja support allergies, medications or other camper needs? +
Provide detailed information about allergies, medications, accommodations or other important needs during registration. If your child has a significant allergy, medication requirement or participation need, contact Octo Ninja before camp so the team can review the situation with you and prepare appropriately.

Before camp, families should complete all required Octo Ninja participation, health and pickup information. This may include the participation waiver, health information, authorized pickup details, allergy or medication information and accommodation information when applicable.
